This gorgeous modern boutique hotel is situated only minutes from the amazing monasteries by car. Our room was very spacious with views of the breathtaking mountains. The large breakfast consisted of a range of home made products, delicious! The staff were very welcoming and accommadating. The proud owners have thought of everyhting, including great rates and a partying gift. If only all hotels would follow their lead. Excellent.

Tucked away in the little town of Kalampaka, this is a gem of a hotel. The staff here is amazing and the home made breakfast is outstanding. They will offer you everything from fresh bread to home made jams and jellys, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, tea, etc. etc.
Just a perfect place to rest your feet after traversing the monasteries of Meteora!

We spent last christmas in this beautiful family hotel. We felt welcomed and taken care off all the time. The room was specious enough, clean and comfortable. The reception hall with the bar and fireplace was a great retreat after two long days in the mountains of Kalabaka, Pertouli and Metsovo. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of food and variety. Meteora is a great place to visit, unique views to the great rocks and the monasteries. The hotel is about 1 hour drive to Pertouli ski-center and about 1,5 hour to Metsovo village. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty of good tavernas and restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is in only about 10 minutes walking distance to Kalabaka.
Room Tip: There are rooms with a view to the rocks and the monasteries of meteora and views to the garden. The price difference is small, we chose a cheaper room with a view to the garden, as we spent most of our time outside the hotel and during the after hours we sat by the fireplace and we could see the rocks pretty well from there.

We were coming from a long tour all aroung Greece with a couple of young children. We were tired but decided to visit the amazing area of Meteora. We arrived at Dellas in Kalambaka after a long trip from Crete...Everything was simply perfect in each and every detail, from the apartment with a beatiful view of the monoliths to the rich breakfast. The hosts were very helpful providing lots of indications, suggestions, maps...also really friendly and make yourself to feel at home.

This hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. We had a nice view of the monoliths from the balcony of our room which was most comfortable. It is just a short walk to tavernas and a convenient spot to start your touring. The Dellas staff can provide maps and books to help plan your siteseeing. A most enjoyable stay

Having been to many hotels, this definitely wins the hospitality prize. The owners are very helpful and kind, without being intrusive or indescrete, so exactly as it should be.
They gave us maps of the area, info on the opening times of the monasteries, a guide book on Meteora (which we returned upon check-out) and even got a small souvenir gift and a postcard!
Other positive points of the hotel:
- Breakfast!!! Great variety, warm (omelette, sausages) and cold, best yoghurt I ever had, fruit, many homemade marmelades, cookies, all really nice!
- Good view to Meteora rocks (if you have booked a room with view)
- Clean
- Price value
- Location: very close to the Meteora monasteries.
Negative points:
Our only complaint is that the central heating in the room was not on, just an airconditioner available for warming the room, which remained off when you are not in the room so you find it really cold when you come back (of course only in the cold months). The air from the airconditioner smellt bad and it needed very long to warm the bathroom (you had to leave the bathroom door open for that) so we ended up freezing in there. Outside temperature during our stay was 8-10 Celcius. Guess they wanted to save on petrol, otherwise I guess they would have to raise the room prices, so can somehow understand it.
Generally this hotel pays off for its price, you actually get more than what you pay for, so I give it 5/5 despite the heating issue.
Concerning food around the hotel, we saw several restaurants and tried to find the less "touristy" one, we noticed that many local cars were parked at the one right on the left as you exit the hotel, called "Harama" I think, but it was nothing special, not bad, but expected to find some local and traditional dishes - had none such in the menu, it actually had regular food that you find in any taverna in Athens. I'd try another if I would go again.
Tip: Check-out the hotel's own website before you book over elsewhere, it is very likely they have better rates there.
Room Tip: Try a room with Meteora view

This 19 rooms hotel is in Kastraki just next to Kalampaka. Kastraki is a much more quiet village than Kalampaka, but you still can find restaurants just at 1 minute walk from the hotel (the hotel just offers breakfast). The hotel area is very quiet and peaceful and the rooms are spacious, the bathroom is ok, the staff is very friendly and the hotel lends you a book of Meteora so you can read about all the monasteries (very good idea!!!). We stayed for 3 nights with your 4 month baby and all the staff was very helpful when we need to sterilize the bottles
Room Tip: no lift on the hotel

We found the Hotel Dellas by driving around the area looking for somewhere that appeared nice. We had arrived without plans or reservations – something that is possible here in September. What we found exceeded our expectations.
The hotel is first rate, with comfortable spacious rooms and a beautifully decorated lobby area, but the best part was the hospitality provided by the Dellas family and Olympia. They made us feel at home.
The hotel is perfectly located for access to the Meteroa and to Kalambaka, without being in the middle of a busy area.
The family provides information on the area, including a loaner book on the Meteroa and the breakfast is a bounty that also includes homemade jams, fresh fruit and the best yogurt we had in Greece.
We really hated to leave.

We had the most wonderful stay at Dellas Boutique Hotel. The owners and staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel and rooms are classy and beautiful. It is a short 8 min walk from the centre of Kalambaka. The outlook is amazing. We where so impressed with the service you receive from the staff. We will definitely be reccomending this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Kalambaka or the meteora area.
Thankyou so much Dellas!
