Great hotel, lovely rooms, very caring hosts (enormous breakfast, you wouldn't find anything like that anywhere else in Greece)! We were overwhelmed with the hospitality that we revieved during our stay including a free guide to the cloisters. We are definitely looking forward to coming back because we really really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here in May 2010 and what a super choice we made. Everything was excellent and the staff unfailingly helpful & kind beyond expectation. Special mention for the friendly and beautiful Apostolia who welcomed us on arrival. The jams at breakfast were amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Dellas Hotel for three nights in mid February. On our second day, we were even snowed in, and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, with cocktails by the fireplace. The rooms were big and spotlessly clean, the view on the Meteora rocks breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was one of the richest I've seen in any Greek hotel, and the furnishings can be characterized by two words only: excellent taste. Mr. Dellas is a wonderful Greek businessman, and I wholeheartedly congratulate him, and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Meteora-Kalambaka area.

The location in one of the most unusual and spectacular parts of the Greek mainland could not be better. Lovely views of and easy access to the beautiful Meteora area with its monasteries. Just off the main road between Kalambaka and Kastraki and within easy walking distance of several tavernas serving wholesome food and good wine at very reasonable prices. A delightful receptionist welcomed us and she and the owner, Mr Dellas, could not have been more helpful in planning our short stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything to a very high standard. Friendly staff introduced us to the amazing spread that was breakfast.

We stayed here for one night while visitng Meteora. Hotel is on the road between Kalambaka and Kastraki., closer to Kastraki, but not in the village. Reservations by email were easy. Check in was smooth and woman at desk very helpful with directions, map and hours monasteries were open. They lent us a book about the monasteries for our visit. We had a triple room and a suite. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and immacuatley clean.Beds very firm. Wifi worked well from rooms. Views of the valley, rock formations and sunset from our balcony were fantastic. It was off season and we were the only ones staying at the hotel. When we returned from dinner, owner had a roaring fire going in lobby fireplace for us. When we came down to breakfast, they had put out enough food to feed about 50 people just for the 5 of us. They had several types of breads, pasteries, homemade jams, yogurt, eggs, sausage, juices etc. Owners were very nice, especailly to our kids. Made us feel very comfortable and at home. Both spoke English. Loved the hotel, owners, atmosphere. Only downside is if you want to go into Kastraki for dinner, you need to drive to as I would not feel comfortable walking on road at night as cars go very fast through that area.

Located between touristy Kalambaka and quiter Kastraki, the Dellas is family-owned and managed. The hotel is only 2 years old and everything is top quality and works well. The staff is top flight - always eager to help on any issue. The rooms are large with more than adequate storage space, refrigerator and good lighting. Rooms on the front have large balconies where you can sit and watch rock climbers and mountain goats on the Meteora just across the street. The rooms on the back are quieter and have a view of distant, snow-covered mountains. Breakfast was expansive and excellent, including homemade jams and pastries and local honey, hot food and the delicious Greek youghurt. The hotel is very family friendly.

Out of my entire stay in Europe, dellas hotel gave me the best experience. The location, the clean (AIR CONDITIONED!!) rooms, the place was beautiful and the price was unbelievable. The staff helped us get taxis, helped us arrange our ferry tickets, bus and train tickets, even gave us a lift to the bus station, they were the friendliest people!! After backpacking around Europe for 4 months, meeting friendly staff and being greeted with a hearty breakfast was just a dream come true. I recommend everyone stay at this hotel, they were so great.

We travel a lot on holidays and vacations etc. and have stayed in many excellent hotels but nothing comes close to our experience in Dellas Boutique Hotel, this hotel and the people who run it need special mention . Much before we reached the hotel , we were already given a sign of what to expect when Achilleas generously changed our booking date request in very short notice so that we avoid travelling on the day of the strike in Greece on 5th May, though we did not have the pleasure of meeting him when we were in the hotel, his eagerness to help in whatever way he can through many communications that we had was always visible and wonderful to experience. When we arrived, we were greeted with a big smile by Apostolia , the smile stayed on her face throughout our stay in that hotel and she helped us in whatever way she could , from editing the map of Meteora to point out particular spots from where I can take good pictures to booking the taxi for our trip to the Monasteries and back and even providing me with another book with pictures of Meteora knowing I was interested in Photography were so wonderful on her part, Mrs. Dellas sat next to us when we were having breakfast the next day morning being a kind hostess and even booked the taxi for us for another trip to the Monasteries and what would you say when I tell you that Mr. Dellas, the owner drove us to the train station next morning as we had an early train to catch for Athens, at 6 am !!! That was such a wonderful gesture and probably sums up the hotel’s intent to ensure a truly memorable and special experience for its guests and for us it will be an everlasting one. Now about the hotel, it’s a class hotel , the moment you step in you will find the interiors are designed with fine taste and high quality , as someone has already said in Trip advisor except the tariff of the hotel, rests are 5 star inside and it’s true, the room was spacious, very clean and has everything that you expect in a 4/5 star hotel and the big plus is the huge balcony, our room and balcony was facing the Valley and it was wonderful , we felt just being in the middle of the nature. I could go on and on but space here will be a constrain :-), I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Meteora, Kalambaka and I would love to go back to Greece only for the breathtaking Meteora and hotel Dellas Boutique and may be next time we’ll stay for more than 2 nights.

The Dellas Hotel was a fantastic place to stay for the time that my son and I visited Meteora. Everything about the hotel was first-rate. The look and atmosphere was very elegant, but not stuffy. The staff was very friendly. Apostolina greeted us on arrival and did a very nice job of giving us hotel information, maps and a guidebook of Meteora, and suggestions for dinner (just a short walk into Kastraki). Mary and Antonio, the owners, were gracious hosts and very helpful, even driving us to a laundromat in Kambalaka. The rooms, beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower good-sized with great water pressure, and the WIFI coverage very good. The room also had a good-sized balcony which included a couple of chairs and small table. The breakfast was the best we had on our trip to Turkey and Greece. Multiple home-made jams, rolls, bread, olives, sausage, omelettes, juices and coffee and a very attractive breakfast area made for a very enjoyable meal to start the day. Finally, the location of the Hotel Dellas is very convenient to visitng the Meteora Monasteries. The 9-mile loop road for seeing the monastaries begins at the other side Kastraki, and there is a 1/2 mile hike to a couple of the lesser monasteries just down the road from the Hotel Dellas parking area. The Hotel Dellas was a perfect place to stay while visiting Meteora.

We stayed at Dellas in the summer of 2009. Only spent two nights here, but the experience was unforgettable. Not only is Meteora so stunning, marvellous, gorgeous, but this hotel suits perfectly such a charming place. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable, rooms are super-clean and modern, food is oustanding to say the least. I have never in my life seen such a variety of home-made jams served for breakfast at a hotel. Highly recommend this place!Dmitriy and Anna
